Condolences . . .

Future condolences may be seen in the weekly Shabbat Bulletin and in timely emails from the office.  Shabbat Bulletins may be accessed via the links on the home page.

When someone is ill or a death occurs, please call and let us know so that we can provide the information to our Traditional family through Shabbat Announcements, the monthly newsletter, the Web, or Tributes.  Also, please let us know your happy occasions so we can rejoice with you.

    Gloria Friedlander,  314-469-3275; Office, 314-576-5230.

Refuah Sh'leimah:

Future health wishes may be seen in the weekly Shabbat Bulletin and in timely emails from the office.  Shabbat Bulletins may be accessed via the links on the home page.
Note: Due to Federal regulations, hospitals no longer notify us when a member has been admitted.  In addition, they will no longer give information over the phone.  Please notify the office when a loved one is admitted to the hospital.

…a cordless combination drill/screwdriver in good working order.  If you have one that you are no longer using, we would be happy to take it off your hands.  Please contact Marian at 314-576-5230 if you have one to donate.  Thank you!

All in the Family: Messages to our Members and Friends

Thank you notes may now be seen in the on-line version of the monthly Newsletter, which can be accessed via the link on the home page.

Please help us keep the lights…OFF!

DLight Switcho you like paying more than you need to for electricity at home?  Didn’t think so.  We don’t like paying more than we need to at Traditional, either.  Please help us to keep our electric bills down by turning off the lights after morning and evening minyan (in the chapel and snack kitchen), at the end of a class or meeting you’ve attended, etc., etc.  (And be sure that all doors are locked as well.)  THANK YOU!

LOST AND FOUND

We have quite a collection of jackets, sweaters, umbrellas, etc. that have taken up residence in our coat room.  If you are purposely leaving them here, that’s fine—if not, please take them home the next time you are here.  We also have several pairs of sunglasses and tallit clips in the office.  Come take a look—you may find what you’ve been missing.

GOT GAME?

We’re looking for donations of Shabbat-appropriate board games—in good condition with all the pieces—for Shabbat afternoon get-togethers for our youth.  Please bring any games you no longer use to the office.  Thank you!

Mazel Tov

Current and future "Mazel Tovs" and Simchas may now be seen in individual copies of the weekly Shabbat Bulletin and monthly Newsletters, which can be accessed via the index on the home page.

Please keep in touch and you can always feel free to call us at 646-875-4073.  If you are worried about calling at an inappropriate time, don't worry about it, as the line will only ring if the computer is on.

Did you know?

  • Dierberg’s Scrip is available for purchase in the office.  We also have Schnuck’s courtesy e-cards.  No extra cost to you, just shop as usual and our shul receives a percentage of what you spend.  A foolproof way to raise money for Traditional!  Please note that we can no longer accept credit cards  or cash in payment.  Checks are welcome!

P.S.  The Jewish Food Pantry needs Dierberg’s cards for its clients.  If you would like to donate cards to the Food Pantry, you can purchase them through Traditional, give them to the Food Pantry, and take a charitable deduction.

It’s a WIN-WIN-WIN!

??? about how it works?  Call Marian in the office.

  • Amazon.com and Traditional are shopping partners!  You can link to Amazon.com right from this message.  Or go to the Traditional home page, click on Our Shopping Partners in the left margin, then scroll down to the Amazon.com banner and click on it.  Make your purchase as usual, and Traditional gets a percentage—all at no extra cost to you!
