One Special Volunteer Needed To
Tend
Tree of Life
Qualifications: Willingness to
market new leaves to our congregants and place orders with the engraving
company. Will take very little of your time but can provide significant rewards
for our kitchens. Please contact Pam Singer, 314-275-9909.
LOST AND FOUND
We have quite a collection of
jackets, sweaters, umbrellas, etc. that have taken up residence in our coat
room. If you are purposely leaving them here, that’s fine—if not, please take
them home the next time you are here. We also have several pairs of sunglasses
and tallit clips in the office. Come take a look—you may find what
you’ve been missing.

All in the Family: Messages
to our Members and Friends
To Rabbi Gordon,
dear Marian and the Traditional Congregation Family: Indeed, "FAMILY," as I
reflect upon these past two most difficult weeks, following the passing of my
beloved Mother, Alicia Kornitzer Karpati. Rabbi Gordon's abundant kindnesses
and efforts regarding the funeral; the Minyans; the outpouring of compassion,
understanding and friendship leave Michael and me...my entire family, truly
overwhelmed. I am so very deeply grateful to each and every one of you, who
took time to share in our sorrow; to all who demonstrated such sensitivity and
a multitude of kindnesses toward us. We are honored and touched beyond words,
and are blessed to be members of such an outstanding Congregation.
Our most sincere,
deep gratitude,
Noémi
Neidorff
Thank
you to my office Angels this month, Janice Pinkus, Peggy Rosen, Ron Rosen,
and Ceil Tobin: you answered the call for volunteers, and it is very
much appreciated! Thank you also to Tobie Hupert and Sylvia Wolff,
who donated irons and ironing boards. We now have one for the shul and one
for the Shabbat House.

Cabaret!
Enjoy the 2010 Cabaret
all over again with

(May take a few minutes to download. Be patient -
they're worth it.)
GOT GAME?
We’re looking for donations of Shabbat-appropriate
board games—in good condition with all the pieces—for Shabbat afternoon
get-togethers for our youth. Please bring any games you no longer use to the
office. Thank you!

Dierberg’s Scrip is available for purchase in the office.
We also have Schnuck’s courtesy e-cards. No extra cost to you, just shop as
usual and our shul receives a percentage of what you spend. A foolproof
way to raise money for Traditional! Please note that we can no longer
accept credit cards or cash in payment. Checks are welcome!
P.S. The Jewish Food Pantry needs Dierberg’s cards for its
clients. If you would like to donate cards to the Food Pantry, you can
purchase them through Traditional, give them to the Food Pantry, and take a
charitable deduction.
It’s a WIN-WIN-WIN!
