Easy Ways to Earn $$Money$$ for Traditional |

1) Support our Spring Garage Sale. Start cleaning out your closets, drawers, garage, basement. As you prepare for Pesach and the summer, set aside items to be donated to our garage sale, which will take place in early June. We will begin collecting items here on March 1, 2010. 2) Do you shop at Office Depot? If so, be sure to give them Traditional’s phone number when you check out and ask that your purchase be credited to our Work/Life Rewards program. Periodically, Office Depot sends us a gift card which can be used to purchase supplies for our office. This is real money that we can use to acquire those supplies, and it costs you nothing. So keep our Rewards number (1360730301) or even just our phone number handy when you shop (314-576-5230).
3) Remember that if
you shop on-line at Amazon.com, link to it through our website,
www.tradcong.org, so that we earn a percentage of what you spend. No
minimum purchase is required.
Simply go to the Traditional home page, click on Our Shopping Partners
in the left margin, then scr 4) Recycle paper and ink cartridges. Drop off your used ink cartridges in the bin near the office; they turn into cash for Traditional. Also, please feed our Paper Recycler located in the West parking lot. We are once again receiving payments based upon how much paper and cardboard is collected (as collections have dropped off this year, we are in danger of losing the Paper Recycler unless we increase the amount collected; that would make it difficult for our shul to recycle office paper and boxes, which would be bad for both our finances and the environment). If your office doesn’t recycle paper, bring it to Traditional, along with your papers, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and cardboard boxes from home. 5) SCRIP, SCRIP, SCRIP. This is a no-brainer. Traditional earns 5% when you purchase scrip for Dierbergs and Kohn’s, and 1-3% when you give the cashier your Schnucks card to swipe. More people are coming onboard, but we need EVERYBODY to purchase and use scrip. If you shop in these stores and are not purchasing scrip, you are leaving money on the table—potentially thousands of dollars per year! If you can’t make it into the office to purchase Dierbergs and Kohn’s scrip, send in your check and Marian will mail the cards to you (unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any cards that are lost in the mail). |
