Join us for a weekend with Amy-Jill Levine, presenting
"Jews, Christians, and the Bible." Professor Levine, a
well-known scholar and lecturer, will be with us this year as our
Scholar-In-Residence. Her lectures are exciting, refreshing and enlightening.
A self-described “Yankee Jewish feminist
who teaches in a predominantly Protestant divinity school in the buckle of the
Bible Belt,” Levine combines historical-critical rigor, literary-critical
sensitivity, and a frequent dash of humor with a commitment to eliminating
anti-Jewish, sexist, and homophobic theologies. Sponsored by the Jacob J. Altman Memorial Adult Education Fund
